স্বপ্ন বনাম দমনচক্র – শাহ্ আলম আল মুজাহিদ

বলে দাও, কে আজ প্রহরী?— স্বপ্ন, নাকি দমনচক্র?
রাজপথে ফুটে না ফুল, শুধু লাশের মিছিলে সৎক।
সংবিধান কাঁদে খামে বন্দি, ভোট চুপচাপ রাত্রিতে,
গণতন্ত্র! তুই কি শুধু নাম?— না নিঃস্ব স্লোগানে শ্রুতি?

মঞ্চে উঠে রাজা, ভাষণ দেয় মুক্তির,
আর পেছনে বন্দুক হাসে, টাকার স্তূপে রক্তীর।
আমরা তো চাইনি সাম্রাজ্য, চাইনি নব্য-নিপীড়ন,
তবুও আজ শিশুর মুখে, ক্ষুধা ও বিপন্ন ক্রন্দন।

জুলাই কাঁদে, আগুনের মতো তপ্ত,
বুকে বয়ে বেড়াই আমরা সীসা-বন্দী শব্দ।
একটি পতাকা, একটি স্বপ্ন— কাঁপে সজল চোখে,
কিন্তু যারা শাসক আজ, তারা তো দেখি নকল ফোকে।

তবু বিশ্বাস রাখি— বিপ্লব থেমে না, ইতিহাস জানে,
আগুন দাহ করে, কিন্তু আলো দেয় প্রাণে।
জয় হোক তার, যে সত্যের গান গায় রক্তে,
জয় হোক তার, যে দাঁড়ায় নিঃস্ব মানুষের পক্ষে।

Who stands guard today—dreams, or the chain of suppression?
No flowers bloom on the streets, only corpses march in procession.
The Constitution weeps, sealed in envelopes, votes silenced at night,
Democracy! Are you just a name—an echo lost in slogan’s blight?

The king climbs the stage, speaks of liberty’s grace,
While guns smirk behind him, blood gleams on money’s face.
We never asked for empires, nor new forms of control,
Yet hunger cries from a child’s lips, a fear that grips the soul.

July weeps, burning like flame,
We carry in our chests words caged in leaden frame.
One flag, one dream—trembles in tearful eyes,
But those in power now wear only counterfeit disguise.

Still we believe—the revolution will not cease, history knows,
Fire may scorch, but in its blaze, true light grows.
Glory to those who sing truth in the blood’s refrain,
Glory to those who rise for the poor, in sorrow and pain.
